Method
- Squeeze water from Ricotta Cheese.
- Add Ricotta Cheese, butter, sugar and milk powder in a high walled microwave safe glass bowl.
- Mix up well.
- Put the bowl in microwave for 4-5 minutes.
- Be careful in taking out, mix up well. Put the bowl again in microwave for another 3-4 minutes.
- Repeat it until you get desired consistency and light brown color. You may have to adjust the time depending on your microwave as all the microwaves are different.
- Garnish with Almond slivers and your halwa is ready.
- Enjoy.
Notes
- I have used Shoprite brand instant nonfat dry Milk powder. You can use the milk powder on your hand.
- I like Polio Whole milk Ricotta cheese. I'm sure you can use low fat ricotta cheese to cut down the calories.
