Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Ricotta Cheese whole milk
  • 8 tbsp Butter unsalted
  • 6.4 oz Instant Dry Milk Powder nonfat
  • ½ lb Sugar granulated
  • 1 tbsp Almond Slivers for garnish

Method
 

  1. Squeeze water from Ricotta Cheese.
  2. Add Ricotta Cheese, butter, sugar and milk powder in a high walled microwave safe glass bowl.
  3. Mix up well.
  4. Put the bowl in microwave for 4-5 minutes.
  5. Be careful in taking out, mix up well. Put the bowl again in microwave for another 3-4 minutes.
  6. Repeat it until you get desired consistency and light brown color. You may have to adjust the time depending on your microwave as all the microwaves are different.
  7. Garnish with Almond slivers and your halwa is ready.
  8. Enjoy.

Notes

  • I have used Shoprite brand instant nonfat dry Milk powder. You can use the milk powder on your hand.
  • I like Polio Whole milk Ricotta cheese. I'm sure you can use low fat ricotta cheese to cut down the calories.
